A truly gorgeous designer dog, the Havachon merits its ever-growing fame to its adorable appearance and darling nature. Originally from the United States, the Havachon puppy is believed to have emerged at the start of the 21st century when the demand for designer dogs was at its peak. The Havachon puppy is a stunning small designer dog breed that has a purebred Havanese parent and a purebred Bichon Frise parent. This beautiful little designer puppy is playful, brilliantly smart, hypoallergenic, and affectionate beyond measure. Its parents, the Havanese and the Bichon Frise, are both members of the Bichon/Barbichon family. They are old breeds in Dogdom and among the most popular dogs for companionship. Both the Havanese and the Bichon Frise are known to have excellent hypoallergenic qualities, high intelligence, and ideal temperaments for therapy work, traits which they pass on to the Havachon mix. The Havachon puppy is often referred to as the Frise Havanese puppy and the Havanese Bichon mix puppy.

The Havachon is a cute crossbreed, companion dogs are small, weighing around 12lbs and standing about 11 inches tall. They make great apartment pets or lapdops, and surprisingly good watchdogs too. This active, trainable dog fits well with older families as well as singles, responds brilliantly to positive reinforcement and has the potential to excel at obedience, agility or even as therapy or service animals. They have adorable faces with round eyes and wide mouthed smiles. Their silky, wavy hair needs a lot of grooming and clipping to stay shiny, but it’s worth the effort. The Havachon are a happy, healthy companion that lives well into it’s teen years.

Mother and Father are both Certified Pedigree Pure Bred Bichon Frise & Havanese registered with Dogs QLD/ANKC.
All parents have had full DNA profile testing for breeds.
Puppies are non-shedding and have a non-allergenic coat.
All puppies will be vet checked, flea-controlled and wormed, vaccinated, microchipped and a beautiful puppy pack will be provided with information for new puppy owners.
They will be ready for their new homes at 8 weeks of age.
Puppies are bred and raised inside our home with my children and have been handled since birth.
Interested persons are welcome to visit our home, we are located on Brisbane Northside. Facetime will be offered to our interstate buyers. I would like the opportunity to choose well-loved forever homes for them and this takes time to find the right person/family. This way our new puppies families can name their puppies before they arrive to their forever homes, as we will begin the journey of crate and toilet training by using their chosen names.

What is a Havachon?
The Havachon is a first generation cross bred dog. They are a Havanese Bichon Frise mix, that combines two rather similar canines into a more predictable pup than many designer dogs. They are active, intelligent and very loving. Fitting in well to homes with plenty of time to give them the attention, and grooming, they need!

Like the majority of hybrid dogs, the exact ancestry of the Bichon Havanese is unknown. We do know that both parent breeds come from the ancient Barbichon group. This included the Havanese, the Bolognese, the Maltese, and the Bichon Tenerife, which later became the Bichon Frise due to its curly coat.
We can get to know the Havachon’s past a little better, and understand their current temperament and needs more by getting to know their purebred ancestors.
